Auracast™

Hearing technology is changing — and Aurora Audiology in Fairbanks, Alaska is here to help you understand what that means for you. Auracast™ is an emerging wireless audio broadcast capability that allows compatible hearing aids, earbuds, and cochlear implants to receive high-quality sound directly from public transmitters, televisions, and personal devices — without the limitations of traditional Bluetooth pairing. For patients with hearing loss, this next-generation assistive listening technology can make it easier to hear clearly in restaurants, theaters, places of worship, and other public spaces. As your local, board-certified audiologist, Dr. Lily Hughes can help you determine whether your current hearing devices are Auracast™-compatible or whether an upgrade could better support your hearing health goals.
